- "Service" refers to any legal service, consultation, or engagement we provide.
- "User", "you", "your" refers to the individual visiting our website or engaging our services.

2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our website or engaging our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering a binding agreement to engage our services. If you are contacting us on behalf of another person, you confirm that you have the authority to do so.
3. Service Description
Harmoni provides family law services in Malaysia, including:
- Relationship and Parenting Consultation (RM 560)
- Maintenance and Custody Support (RM 1,200)
- Whole-Family Resolution Engagement (RM 1,900)
Services are available to clients in Malaysia and are subject to availability. We reserve the right to decline or terminate a service engagement where it would be inappropriate or contrary to our professional obligations.
4. User Responsibilities
When using our website and services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information when making enquiries or engaging services
- Not misrepresent your identity or the nature of your matter
- Use the website for lawful purposes only
- Not attempt to access, copy, or disrupt the technical systems of the website
- Not submit false or misleading information through the contact form
5. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, design elements, structure, and layout — is the property of Harmoni or its licensors. You may view and print content for personal, non-commercial use only.
You may not reproduce, republish, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our prior written consent.
6. Payment Terms
Service fees are as stated on our website and confirmed in writing before work commences. Payment terms will be set out in our engagement letter. We accept payment by bank transfer and other methods as agreed.
Court disbursements and third-party expenses, where applicable, are in addition to service fees and will be itemised separately in advance. All fees are stated in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR).
Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis and are not automatic. If services have been partially rendered, a proportionate fee may be retained.
7. Service-Specific Terms
Consultations: The initial consultation fee covers one session as described. Additional sessions, if required, are subject to further agreement. The consultation does not create an ongoing solicitor-client relationship unless a separate engagement is entered into.
Maintenance and Custody Support: Scope is as described in the service description. Matters that extend beyond the agreed scope will be discussed and agreed upon before additional work proceeds.
Whole-Family Engagement: This service covers the matters specified at the time of engagement. Changes in scope will be documented in writing.
8. Disclaimers
The information on our website is provided for general informational purposes and does not constitute legal advice. No solicitor-client relationship is formed by visiting our website or submitting an enquiry.
Legal outcomes are not within our control and depend on many factors. We do not represent that any particular result will be achieved from our services.
Our website is provided "as is". We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from technical issues.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by Malaysian law, Harmoni's liability in connection with any service is limited to the fees paid for that service. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses arising from the use of our services or website.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud or any matter that cannot be excluded by law.
10. Termination
Either party may terminate an engagement by providing reasonable written notice. Harmoni may terminate an engagement immediately if:
- A conflict of interest arises that cannot be managed
- We are instructed to act in a manner contrary to our professional obligations
- Fees remain unpaid after reasonable notice
- Information provided to us is discovered to be materially false
Upon termination, we will return your documents and data as appropriate and provide a final account of fees.
11. Dispute Resolution
We aim to resolve any concerns informally in the first instance. If a formal complaint is necessary, please contact us at [email protected].
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
12. General Provisions
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect. Our failure to enforce any term does not constitute a waiver of that term. These Terms represent the entire agreement between you and Harmoni in respect of the subject matter herein.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be noted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of our services following a change constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
